Nile Startup Campus is a Nile University Club that equips students with the necessary skills to
innovate and enables them to realize their ideas. It's a community where aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, and early-stage businesses can access resources, mentorship, networking opportunities, and education to help them grow and succeed.
Our goal is to make sure you have a startup by the end of your school year and possibly stand on your own without having to add to the currently flooded job market.
Startup Campus isn't focused on students with technical skills, rather students with different backgrounds can come together, form a team, and grow together while learning from each other.
Startup Campus was borne out of a conversation between a couple of students and Dr. Umar 2 years ago. They were in the computer lab after a GDSC competition, and they spoke about how they felt like they would be unprepared to join the job market by the time they graduated. They wanted more technical experience. Dr. Umar asked us an important question that widened our horizons. He asked why their aim should be to graduate and seek employment, rather than create jobs by being founders and hiring our own employees.
